Katie Eubank began modeling with clay when she was 5 years old. Now, 17 years later, she has written, illustrated and published her first book - "Clover's Crafty Day" - based on her most cherished clay creatures: snails.

What Kelly Olson thought was just a phase in her son's life has turned into a championship-caliber accomplishment for Grant Olson, a senior majoring in mathematics at Cedarville University.

If you saw most Cedarville University students on their computers, you would likely assume they were studying. But one freshman business management student, Addi Melvin, is also likely to be found teaching virtual riding lessons from her residence hall room.

The following students were named to the Dean's List at Cedarville University for Fall 2023. This recognition requires the student to obtain a 3.5 GPA or higher for the semester and carry a minimum of 12 credit hours.

The smell of sugar and almonds wafted through the air as the warmth from the oven basked the kitchen in a comforting embrace. Even more heartwarming, though, was the joy that 10-year-old Eve Welhener shared with her grandmother. The pair had just baked macarons, a French sandwich cookie that is notoriously difficult to make, for the first time - and they tasted perfect.

For the first time in Cedarville University history, a mock trial team competed in a collegiate tournament and finished the competition at St. Bonaventure University as one of the top teams. Overall, the two Cedarville teams of 19 students total, won four out of eight judges' ballots.

Cedarville University's world of entrepreneurship has been flourishing this year, with many opportunities for students to get hands-on experience. With the first Cedarville University Entrepreneurship (CUE) school wrapped up, many students are developing their businesses further. Three students in particular, Cooper Peterson, founder of RunGLUBZ; Aaron Perry, founder of Ultra Lyte Running; and Anastasia Stanhope, founder of Be the Light Lettering, have all benefitted greatly from implementing strategies from CUE school.

As a young girl going on missions trips with her parents, Brianna Pacecca, senior civil engineering student from Largo, Florida, knew she wanted to be involved in missions. Seeing firsthand the need for the gospel worldwide has motivated Pacecca in her pursuit of this high calling.

Kaley Aurand, a 2023 criminal justice graduate of Cedarville University, was sponsored by the Xenia Police Department (XPD) in the completion of her training at the police academy. Today, Aurand, who graduated from the five-month Ohio Peace Officer Basic Training Academy at Sinclair Community College in November, is now a full-time police officer for the Xenia Police Department. She was sworn in on Monday, Nov. 27.

It's the dream of every young baseball player to make it to the major leagues, and Max Miller is helping rookies make it to the Boston Red Sox. A 2021 Cedarville University graduate with a degree in exercise science, Miller recently accepted a position with the Florida Complex League (FCL) in Ft. Myers, Florida. He works as an assistant strength coach for the FCL Red Sox, a minor league team owned by the Boston Red Sox.
