Serafina Strangis of Venetia Performed in AYO Dance Company's Show, "Crusade: A Journey Through Joy and Pain"

2017 Dec 4

Cedarville University student Serafina Strangis performed in Cedarville University's AYO Dance Company fall performance, "Crusade: A Journey Through Joy and Pain."

"Many people face wars in many different ways, but through God's strength we can find peace and rest in him," said Strangis, AYO's vice president, a sophomore Christian education major from Venetia, PA.

The subject was chosen after previous audiences suggested integrating a theme into AYO's shows. "Crusade" tells the story of living with both trials and blessings and the peace that can come from God in both.

The show featured 80 dancers in a variety of styles of dance including jazz, hip-hop, tap and contemporary. Fifteen different choreographers took part in the show.

Cedarville University's AYO Dance Company performed "Crusade: A Journey Through Joy and Pain," at the Cedarville Opera House Nov. 17 and 18.
